head/cam swap car running like hell

I installed brodix IK200 heads and a ZZ4 cam with the mods in my sig and the car has no power. its a total dog! I installed the cam dot to dot on the new timmg chain at top dead center. I used to run 49 psi in fuel pressure but now it ideals best at around 44. It stalls when i have the timing mark on the timing tab. its prob about 20*btdc. It was making a tinny internal backfiring noise but that seems to be gone now. any help would be great. I dont think I have any vac leaks?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I have three things that come to mind.

A.) Valves are adjustment is too tight

B.) The distributer timing is off due to not disconnecting the bypass wire for setting the timing. Remove the "Set Timing" connector and adjust the distributer to 6* BTDC with the engine idling and the ECM not controlling the idle.

C.) The ZZ4 cam/200cc head combo is a drastic difference from stock. I feel you need DIY prom tuning to dial in you speed density EFI system. It is most likely running very lean at higher throttle openings and the upper rpms.

It's MAF.

Re: head/cam swap car running like hell

thanks guys.
well I went over the rockers/valves as the car was runing and backed them all off untill they started thicking then tighten them 1/4 turn.
I have been disconnecting the wire for the distributor as adjust timing.
It is possible that the cam heads combo might need alittle much for my current bin.
I was also thinking it could be my MAF, i'm not getting a code for it but the tinny poping noise did go away when i disconnected it? Just dont want to buy a new MAF for $300 if it not the prob??
