Light discoloration on flywheel surface. Safe to use?
I had my flywheel resurfaced a year ago and let it sit around. Its not rusted but It does have some slight discoloration on it. Is it safe to use as is? Should I clean it with something? Sand it? Or just use it?
Thanks a ton guys!

Yea, scrub it with some 180 grit paper in a circular motion as if you were buffing it. That'll clean it off and leave it a bit rough, better for the clutch disc to grab than a glazed surface - just like brake discs. Then spritz it with some brake-kleen and give it a wipe.

Since we're talking about this in your other thread, might as well let this thread die.
