Search function?

Dont know where to post this but.......
what the hell is wrong with the search function of this site? everytime I do a search says no match.
I can put somthing simple....and nothing.

hi there search is down for a while, at least a week, probably longer, theres already a post about this in the site boards section

I posted a brief announcement about the issue, but yes, unfortunately, search is down and will be down until next week. Thirdgen.org had used a "3rd party" search engine, rather than vB's search engine. The new server needs a software upgrade in order for the search feature to work. This will result in some downtime as the software is upgraded. At this time, we cannot turn back to vB's search engine for a few reasons, while leaving the forums online. So, instead, it is planned to have the search feature back online sometime next week when mysql can be upgraded.
