Re: hmmmm i thought i was done
yeah if alot of water got in the exhaust then yeah it could still be smoking off the water
i would drive it and keep an eye on water level and the oil for moisture collecting on the underside of the cap
if theres alot of water in the pipe then it could possibly take a long time several days or more to get it all out from the exhaust heat alone
hoew bad was it burning/leaking water ?
weve done alot of head gasket jobs due to water burning and have seen some crazy ones where the mufflers were full of water, lots of white smoke after we were done with the gasket replacements even though they werent burning water anymore
it happens.,
we confirm the repair with a radiator pressure tester tool that we have
i would try and find one of these pressure tools and pump it up and make sure the cooling system holds pressure for a few minutes with it
its only 15 PSI
so...
good luck
