how many lb injectors

ideally i would like to save myself from buying injectors twice but i dont think that is going to be possible.

355, flat top 4 relief pistons, com cams 224/230 with around 5.15 lift with 1.5 rockers. Dart craptastic 180cc iron eagle heads and a stealth ram intake.

I'm using a set of 22lb an hour injectors being run up to around 44 psi and think theyre pretty well maxed out.

Do you guys think this is enough injector for this setup? Or should i really be stepping up to a 24 or maybe even 26 lb injector?

Future plans for this motor include a descent aftermarket aluminum head in the 180-195cc range, some trickflows or edelbrocks or something to the liking.
as well as getting some 1.6 roller rockers and new lifters.

So what lb should i be looking at for the motor i have now, and would it be possible to run 26's in it now knowing in the next probably 2 summers itll be getting a set of aluminum heads.

Re: how many lb injectors

26 is actually probably a good choice. I'd try that, especially as cheap and easy as you can get them used in good shape; and not worry too much about "the future" in "2 summers". Sell the 26s and buy whatever else you need when the time comes, if necessary.

Edelbrocks incidentally are 170cc, not much of an upgrade from 180. Scratch those off your list of candidates if you're looking to move more air.

ya thats true, couldnt remember about the edelcraps, brodix or trickflow or something like that, i dont want to step up to a 200cc head, but just about anything smaller, need as much low end as i can get with my powerband being from like 3-6000
