Hatch help

Just brought my new 87 bird home today and...I cant find the hatch relase

yea, dumb question but how the hell do I pop the hatch without using the door key? (the rear key cylinder on the trunk is gone, looks like someone broke it out and I couldn't find a release bar inside the hole to pop it open with a screw driver)

so yea, where is the hatch release on an 87?

Re: Hatch help

No electric switch, my 92 bird has an electric automatic switch however, this car is completely base model...

Is there no other way to open the hatch if the key cylinder has been removed? Or am I overlooking a simply button somewhere lol
