Non 3rd gen question, 3.1L TB to 2.2 TB swap?
Hey fellow TGO's,
I have a 92 camaro 3.1L that i'm swapping a 350 in. So obviously the 3.1 has no use to me anymore. However, my daily driver is a 99 chevy s10 with a 2.2L and ,well, no *****. I have added a K&N filter(not CAI, since it's my d.d.) and it accelarted a little better, but I want to wake it up a little more and I was wondering if the throttle body from my 3.1 would work on the 2.2? Has anyone else tried this or know anyone who has? I know this isn't going to be a million horsepower gain, but it would be nice to have just a little more pedal in the truck, for merging and passing reasons.
P.S. I know there are other mods I can do to the truck for merging and passing reasons but every dollar that's spent on the s10 takes a dollar away from the camaro, so i'm hoping for a "freebie'' modification with the TB.

I can think of one problem off the bat...
IIRC, the s10 has the IAC valve after the throttle body, while the 3.1 has it included in the throttle body.

could it be possible to block off the iac in the camaro, and just let the s10's IAC continue to work properly, or would my ses light always be on??
