Fuel Problems??

I have a 88 TPI Camaro 5L. I just replaced the fuel pump (because it wasn't working) and filter, but it's still not working properly. The fuel pressure is 41 PSI, the fuel flow is suppose to be 1/2 a pint in 15 seconds but it's only 1/4 pint in 7 seconds and then stops. It's surging, lurching and stalling. I unplugged the sensor (electrical plug) from the evap. emissions pressure valve which is on top of the evap. emissions canister. Then it worked almost perfect I just got a evap pressure valve from the local junkyard and it didn't change anything.....Does anyone know what the hell is going on?

Well, 41 psi sounds about normal. I'm not very familiar with TPI but try replacing the relay, or check your wiring. Also, try connecting a fuel pressure gauge and route it to where you can see it while driving and see what your fuel pressure is doing.

Let us know.
