Fuel pump is groaning??

My pump sounds like it is groaning, is that the sound it makes when its on its way out?? I do have the pressure kinda high, would that make it work harder and make noise? Its still the stock pump so anything is possible I guess, but the car is so low, I would hate to get stuck and have to get a tow.

Re: Fuel pump is groaning??

Mine is making the noise while its running, not once it has been turned off. The only reason I could see it making noise once it has been off is from pressure bleeding off somewhere?!?

Yours was a different problem, and quite honestly didn't belong in this thread. So, the other thread was the right place to address it.
