i was wondering what would b a good timing stting with hypertech prom chip on 86 lb9 right now i have it at 6degrees btdc any help would b appreciated

 

6-8º is about all you can do. The HyperTech programs aer not very thoroughly planned in the knock retard attack and recovery rates, so you might experience detonation with more initial advance at higher (normal) engine temperatures.
