Hey there, people. New to the boards, and had a problem about five minutes ago I was hoping y'all could help me with. Well, I just bought a 1984 Z28 H.O. about a month ago. The intake manifold was leaking when I bought it, but I don't think that would have anything to do with the problem. I haven't been driving it much but I do crank it up at least once a day just to get the engine moving a little.

Well, a few minutes ago I started it up and let it run a minute or two. I went to give it the tiniest rev, and the throttle got stuck to the floor (it seemed). The RPMs maxed out and the car just went damn AWOL. Scared out my mind, I quickly turned it off and let it sit for a minute ... hoping not much damaged was caused.

I was wondering if anyone around the boards could help me out with this. I've never had this problem before, and when I tried to start it back up, it had trouble turning over. Once it did, though, everything was fine. Started fine every time I tried after that. Anyway, if anyone knows what could be the problem, I'd appreciate it.
