car with 120 speedo able to use 140 speedo
recently switched over to a 140 speedo on a car with the 120 its a electronic set up and it plugs in propely and functions both the speedo numbers match but i was curious if i need to change the VSS and buffer? i got the 140 speedo out of a 91 and i own a 90

if its not broke dont fix it
i myself went from a 85 mph speedo to a 140 with no issues

ok just making sure if my speedo was going 55mph its really going 55mph thats all it functions 100%

I think like after 90 all the vss sensors had the same output I run a 140mph speedo in my tbi car and it works fine.
