my bird is kickin my butt

ok, so for those who remember, I have a 91 bird and was trying to bypass the vats system. and I finally found the right resistance, and I got the starter working, but I could not get the fuel pump to kick on by itself. so i ran a switch going to the fuel pump. the problem is that I cannot get the right amount of fuel to the throttle body. The car will not even start now. I used to be able to prime the throttle body with gas and it would run. now it will not. It will fire, but will not run, at all. no idle, no revv, nothing. anyone have any idea what else to check to get my fuel pump kicking on by itself? I am really getting disapointed with this firebird...some one help me out if you have any clue as to how to help me.

Re: my bird is kickin my butt

i just ran a power wire from a switched source under the dash to the i think grey wire on the fuel pump relay... primes when i put the key on and starts right up. its not the best fix but i only have one car and i needed it up and running so for now its working.
