Axle/Gears: 3.23/2.77/3.73
TPI CAM??
If I get a bigger cam for a 305 engine will it be better what changes would I have to make

That would depend on what cam.
Virtually ANY cam you get will be bigger than what's most likely in there; even the stock cam out of some other SBC.

If you want the most bang for your buck open up the intake and exhaust. Maybe a cool air intake with some headers and cat back system. If your going to change your cam, you should think about changing your intake aswell. All depends on how much get up and go you want?
