Need a suggestion
i have a 1984 Z28 Camaro with a 327 vette motor. and sumbody stole a distributor out of the motor. and the battery is no good. so im prolly gonna need to replace both of them, plus the altonator. wat i want to kno is about wat am i lookin' on spending on parts and labor.

Parts wise....150-the sky is the limit on performance and aftermarket. Labor is free if you do it yourself.

"327 vette motor" - scary words.
If the engine was replaced using the original equipment to run it, not too bad. But, I would guess that isn't the case, since the last 327 put in a Vette didn't have the accessory holes in the front of the heads to mount '84 Camaro alternator, PS pump, AC, etc. Meaning this was probably a real hack job. Or whoever told you it has a "327 vette motor" is an out-&-out liar.
You'll have to have shops in your area look at it and give you estimates. Since the car can't be driven there, you've got quite a task on your hands.
