Diagnostic Port Tuner?
Hey, does anyone know of a thing that would plug into the diagnostic port of a 1987 Trans Am that would allow for tuning? Thanks.

Re: Diagnostic Port Tuner?
OBD-1 usb cable from moates.net will allow you to scan the computer. A prom burner and adaptor along with Tuner-Pro will allow you to tune. See stickies on the DIY-Prom board.

If you get an ostrich (moates) you can tune in real time....
Use tunerpro to do it.

No, there is nothing that allows you to make changes thru the ALDL connector. You need to drop the computer and change the prom. You can use the Moates Ostrich to make changes on the fly using a laptop, but that ties directly into the computer, not the ALDL.
