What Torque To use on oil and Tranmission pans?
Hi people. I'm going to be re-installing my oil and transmission pan with new seals. I know, that the screws around the pans are very lightly. I have an inch-pounds torque wrench, anyone know how much torque i should use on each one? Oh, and should i use some sort of a seal on each screw?

Engine Oil Pan- Stud 5/16-18x.44 10 in.lbs. minimum. Stud Nut 9-11 N.m,150-180 in.lbs. 1/4 20x.56-4-5 N.m 72-90 in.lbs. Stud 1/4-20x.50x.56 4-5 N.m, 72-90 in.lbs. Transmission Pan-1.25x19.3 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.) All specs per GM Chevy Camaro Service Manual P.S. Use the Fel-Pro Blue Re-useable engine oil pan gasket kit. Comes with new pan bolts with star washers. Uses no sealant or glue and does not leak. Has installation guide pins to hold it up. If you already have a pan gasket, adhere it to the pan, not the block. Use a pliable silicone like Permatex, same for the tranny pan. Always glue gasket to cover, not block or transmission case.
