I have the msd 6AL box and there is power and signal to the box and ignition module, but there is no power coming out of the box to the coil. HELP PLEASE!!

 

I'm not trying to be a jerk but I'm not sure how anyone is suppose to help you. You do not list what kind of car it is, motor, tranny, rear-end, mods, etc. Not to mention that no one has any clue how you have wired your 6AL box.

 

First off it is a 91 Z28 5.7.

Second i dont mean to be a jerk but is there any other way then on to mount and msd box but to the ignition and why do you need to know the tranny, rear end mods? it has noithing to do with the motor and ign no start problem.

Today i tested it and i got: power to the msd box, no power to the igniton modul, no power to the coil.

 

Are you trying to use an MSD harness. Check the red wires for continutity. I purchased one and it was bad, got a replacement and it too was defective. finally cut into my factory harness and wired it like the book said. Bingo! everything worked. Hope this helps DJ

 

Today i testeed it again there is no power to the ignition module, then no power to the coil and power the msd box.

anyone know possible reason why?

Could it be the computer?
