studs are damaged help
i went and took off my rear tire and notice that one stud that you screw your lug nutz on is damaged. what i mean by damage is the threads on it are bent. I there a way to fix this?

Might be able to use a thread file on it, but if they're beyond repair, you can get someone to replace it.

just go to auto zone or something and buy a new stud, theyre like $1.50 and hammer out the old stud, then over tighten the stud and the nut with an air gun so the stud will stay in place when you put the tire on - 10 minute job

Re: studs are damaged help
that might work for a front tire with disk brakes... but not on a axle.... the rear end will need to be opened up.... it is best to have a shop do it if you are already calling things "lug nutz"
