Power Steering Gearbox
I just replaced my power steering gearbox due to a seal leak. The new gearbox (AC Delco reman) is harder to turn than my old one. Is this normal? Also, how often do problems develop with these units? Is it worth keeping the old one ($25 core) and buying a seal kit to rebuild my original?

I'd turn in the old one for the core as soon as you find that the new one is just stiff from not being broken-in.

Re: Power Steering Gearbox
Thank you for your quick reply! I adjusted the bolt today and it seems to have helped a great deal. I'll play with it some more if it still bothers me in a few days. Thanks again!
