not just another vats q. please help
i just aquired a 1991 camaro rs with v6. here's the story. my boss bought it 2 months ago and it ran good but he tuned it up, plugs, wires rotor, cap. then it wouldn't do anything, even crank over. so after research he replaced the ignition switch with the new and correct one. now it cranks but still no spark or fuel. just cranks and cranks. tried disconnecting batt. to reset computer. i was told by the gm service that the vats module 'never' goes bad. is this all related or what do you think. itested for power at the ign. coil and had 12 volts to one harness and 0 at other while cranking. checked for fuel by listening for fuel pump to hum when i turn key on. no hum. do you know if the bypass ecklers sells bypasses the whole vats system or just the ignition cylinder. thanks fellow camaro lovers. scott

Sounds to me like a bad fuel pump. try putting a little bit on gas in the Carburetor or your fuel injection ports then try to start it, if it starts to run for a little bit then i would say you need to check all the fuel stuff. Like fuel pump,Fuel filter, and fuel lines. If its a bad pump then your going to have to drop the whole rear axel to get to your gas tank because the pump is in there...yea i know...that sucks.

check over everything that was done, look for any connectors that be not be plugged in all the way or that may have gotten knocked off.
