Re: HSR and AFR heads?
A conventional, Gen. I HSR should bolt right up to a set of AFR's. AFR Gen. I sbc heads use the traditional bolt angle, unless you have the "L98" angle style AFR's or Vortec style.

Re: HSR and AFR heads?
depends on your HSR but brand new hsr base castings can be ported to 1206 gaskets which is what the 210+ cc AFR heads use. old HSR castings cant be ported to 1206 without adding material to the intake. all hsr's come with 1205 sized gasket ports which is what the 180-195 cc heads use. So if you want to use afr 210 heads then you'll need to port match the HSR and add material to seal the manifold to the head if you dont have a new casting
HSR comes with both bolt patterns for centerbolt heads with the two middle different angle bolt holes and traditional style 90 degree straight up bolt holes so it will fit any small block head
