noob motor mount question

alright, i was under my 89 rs, and i noticed on the side of the motor mount that bolts to the chassis, not all 4 bolt holes are being used, where the two bolt holes are closest to the engine (bottom side) only the front bolt hole was used, and i didnt see a hole to even line the mount up with to add the extra bolt that was missing....

now i work at a parts store, and this is my first v8, but ive already found out the hard way that my transmission is a turbo 350 (700r4 filter/gasket didnt fit) and now it looks like my motor mounts are off.

is there a chance i have some crappy engine swapped in there? or do i need to re-do my motor mounts...?

There are only 3 bolts on each mount.
