hey well, its been 6 months since i got my new 92 1le z28 , i alredy have an 90 iroc z too, and after too much suffer to get the paperwork done i have the chance to drive my car but the thing now is that i never notice when i get the car that it has an fuel injector disconected, last week i took it to a local mechanic to check the brakes, oil change , tranny service and all that stuff and he was supriced i was driving my car like that but the thing is when he pluged the cable to that injector back the engine just dies now the problem its gong worts and worst my car dont start till i step on the gas and if let the pedal go the engine just dies, and that mechanic guy told me after 4 hrs trying to fix the problem without results that he just cant fix it so now i am just disillusioned because i work so hard and waisting all that money in the paperwork, so i hope you guys can help me with this problem...

Well that's about a no-brainer (explains why I can figure it out...)

That injector is bad. Shorted.

Get another.

If these are still the OE Multecs, they are trash from the day they were born. Don't bother with the other 7. Get 8 instead.

Since you didn't tell us which engine is in it: if it's a 305, get the late-model Frod injectors; the orange Bosch "pencil" style ones. You can pick em up all day long on eBay for about $40 a set used, and they don't go bad much. If it's a 350, I think you want the pink Bosch ones, but I don't know off the top of my head what kind of cars they came in.
