HELP!!!!!!! my car idles high

Hello everyone,

When I come up to a stop light or a stop in general my car idles high and after a min or so my car will idle down to the right idle speed. I noticed when I bought the car that the throttle position sensor was tampered with and that they broke the screws on the unit and was being held by some wire. I took off the throttle body and drilled out the broken screws and used bigger ones to hold it, but besides that the car always idled high. So if anyone out there has had a similar problem please send some knowledge.

Thanks

Find one of ader's posts about setting the TPS and cleaning your IAC. Check state of tune and work from there IF it's still an issue.
