New day, onto a new adventure...any suggestions?

So i've had my camaro for a few months now with the 305 tbi V8 and ive decided i want to breathe some new life into my baby, SO i looked around the phoenix metro area for a reputable shop that build crate engines and found phoenixengine.com ( real original huh?) They sell 3 different levels of crate engines, power1, power2, and power3, so i shot them an email about this 4 bolt main beauty:

POWER 2® ENGINE PARTS include:
  • Power 2 cam kit
  • Power 2 hydraulic lifters
  • Power 2 spring set, heavy duty (900, series spring sets)
  • Polished Intake Included
  • Heavy duty steel intake valves
  • Heavy duty steel exhaust valves
  • Premium positive valve seals, polyacrylate
  • Heavy duty roller timing chain
  • Controlled internal oil system (a PER exclusive!)
  • Heavy duty, high volume Melling oil pump
  • Heavy duty steel collar oil shaft
  • Heavy duty oil pickup screen
  • High quality American Seal Power/SL hypereutectic pistons
  • PER® High Performance plasma molly rings
  • Brass freeze plug kit
  • High quality rear main seal double lip polyacrylate
  • PermaTorque heavy duty gaskets and gasket set
  • Main bearings, Tri metal, high quality
  • Rod bearings, Tri metal, high quality
  • New rod nuts installed
  • Cam bearings, high quality 360 Set

POWER 2® ENGINE MACHINE LABOR includes:
  • PER 4-angle® valve job
  • Mill-matching surfaced heads
  • Heavy duty thick wall valve guides
  • Valve guides custom cut for posi-seals
  • Jet vat block and magnifluxing
  • Remove and replace all freeze plugs
  • Remove and replace gallery plugs
  • Remove and replace cam bearings
  • Custom centerline boring of block (true 90 degree V8 centerline)
  • Power hone to fit pistons and rings
  • Custom crank Micro polish radius oil holes
  • Rods pressed off, then heat fitted
  • Rods checked for alignment
  • Street balancing
And not only that but i asked them if they could hook it up with TPI because the tbi thing gets on my nerves, the rep told me it should cost about 300 more so i should be looking in the ballpark of 2500 to 3000 depending on any upgrades i choose, smoking deal plus they ship it straight to my house with no charge.

Then for the sake of curiosity i decided to fiddle on a turbo website, and found a universal kit from squires turbo systems that mounts up like a cat back exhaust, i dont know what to make of it but it seems tight to me, and heres what they claim"

The best power and torque curves in the industry

No increased underhood temperatures, as with front mount turbos

No Supercharger belts that can shear and cause damage

Leaves more room under the hood for regular engine maintenance

No need for expensive headers or other engine modifications

No parasitic losses, as with Supercharger options

Increased fuel economy and cleaner emissions

Complete bolt-on systems

...and the famous STS turbo sound!

Now here's my question, i scrape my exhaust on speedbumps.....wouldnt i do the same with a turbo???? i'm thinking of fabricating like a skid plate to go over it if i decide to buy it, probably not but its something to entertain my brain for a bit, i'm definatly getting that engine asap though, any suggestions on anyhting?
