350 build

I have a 1986 350 and would like to build it up. I have a 350/375 cam and a 5.3 Vortec Avalanche heads and 650 Edlebrock carb Edlebrock RPM manifold. Question is are these heads worth using in this package and what would need to be done to them in order to use them
thanks

Welcome to thirdgen.org.

I believe 5.3l Vortec Avalanche heads would be of the LSx variety. Totally incompatible with a Gen I 1986 350 block.

I'm not familiar with a 350/375 cam. What exactly is that?
