Idler pulley.

This winter I have decided to do a few projects on my beloved, but have run into a a snag. I have been searching the forums for the past few days to find the right idler pulley for this setup:

Another View: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/atta...iagrams-z2.jpg

And I can not for the life of me find this pulley (in the insert image), either that or do I need to switch tensioners for one that fits the Dayco 89013 pulley? (Tried it on the stock tensioner and yeah.. no..) The Dayco 89007 was a flat pulley and did not have grooves, at least thats what I could tell when they brought it out.

I am for certain that I'm just overlooking this part, (Searching I read one came on a mustang GT 4.8l? I had an AutoZ. guy look at it for me, and it looks like the Dayco 89013 one. ANY clues on this mystery pulley would be awesome.

Uhem.. well since I have this up guess I will toss all my questions out here:
What is the line that runs from the manifold over and kinda behind the driver side valve cover into the round black thing that is next to the brake master cylinder? I'm doing my valve seals as well while I got the engine apart and all hoses that can be disconnected permanently are what I'm looking for while I do that. (A.I.R. delete, smog delete, heater diverter delete, etc's)

Please do not flame, but I am going to run a dual setup (Hooker comp into extension reducers, into 2.5" all the way back into probably a pair of Dynomax super turbos.) and have a few clearance questions. When running the driver side pipe, how close can I get to the fuel lines? Is there a way I could run heat wrap around them to gain an extra 1/4th-1/2 inch? I am running stock height front + 28" tires in the back, so I have a little extra room to run the piping, but not much.

Could I fit a 17-20" muffler in the back where an over the axle would normally come out at? I measure from where I could connect the muffler to the over the axle, and I got around 24 inches, or would running round mufflers be better for this setup? (Trying to retain as much ground clearance as possible under the car, so I want the mufflers right where it exits.

Also, this ( http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...ferx/duals.jpg ) is how I am going to run my exhaust, from laying on the cold floor for 20minutes to reading the dual exhaust pic for millionth time, I should not need to trim anything, but are there any tips for running it like this? I can't remember who said it but "If you just take the time, it fits perfect." Also BIG props to Greezemonkey for all the pictures of his exhaust and giving me so many ideas and the inspiration to do duals.

Also, I am a torque monster. I love SOTP feel and after reading, I have determined I would like an H-Pipe for better torque, as an X pipe would increase HP? (I've also been told an H-Pipe does nothing but mellow out sounds, would like to clear this one up too, as I am all up for not messing with this pipe haha.)

Also to clear some things up: This will become a low 13 second 305 beast, and stay a 305. There are no plans to upgrade to a 350, 383, 400, 435, 500, or a 4-cylinder. That will be what my future IROC will be for, but that is way in the future. As I have said earlier, please no flames, I know there is going to be a few people chiming in "No Replacement for Displacement" and "cost". Cost is of no concern, my patience is pretty astounding and I like to bargain hunt so meh. And with the Displacement remark, yes It would be 100 times easier to get into 13's with a 350. But I am building a sleeper that will live up to her name of an R.S.Super.Sleeper. (R.S.S.S Project.)

Sorry, started ranting..

Anyway, A few more questions to go:
On the stock exhaust mount in the middle of the car that is behind where the cat is, how do you get that rubber mount off? mines about to fall apart and I can't figure out how to get it off.. I felt around on top and it feels like theres a bolt there but it feels way to big to be a bolt, does it just slide off? o-r-z

Uhem.. come on TJ think think think..

Rant: stupid cold weather, made the vaccum line on top of the heater diverter rigid and broke into a million pieces, I can still get a screw in there and it'll seal but any recommendations on this?

Uhem, I do know a few of these questions can be answered by a simple search and probably by the time I get an answer I will have found a few, but since I had already started a thread about the pulley I thought I might as well keep going.

Re: Idler pulley.

Haha, I knew I would find an answer as soon as I posted...

Tried "grooved" instead of "ribbed" and jeeze, do I feel stupid, 2nd link got me the link to the pulley and then found it on AAP. 2 numbers off from what I tried... 89015 argh... lol.

Anyway, I am still needing the answers to the rest of my questions, thanks in advance.

That's the vacuum supply line for the power brake booster, if I understand what you're describing.

Those questions are better researched on the Exhaust forum.

It shares the bolts with the torque arm mount on the transmission tailshaft. I've found I have to drop the back of the tranny to get it off.
