Best price on forged 383 rotating assy?
hey! I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions on where to get a fully forged rotating assy to make a 383. It must be able to initially hold up to about 450 RWHP 550RWTQ to start. Im considering supercharging and or doing some kind of nitrous (250?? i know little about nos) shot later on if i get bored with the car, so i need a rotating assy that will be ready to support serious #'s on demand, since doing things twice is not my thing. Also, i would much prefere a balanced (internal would e nice) assy.
summit rotating Assys seem pretty good, but i cant seem to match everything together.. if its got the right pistons, the crank is wrong, if its got a the right crank, the pistons are off. If the crank and pistons are right, its externally balanced (and not balanced yet. gotta do it yourself. ew)
Anyone that has shopped around and or knows a good shop feel free to leave your $.02!
Thanks
