ok back over the summer i bought a 82 t/a for $500 with a good rust free body and very clean interior. car had a swaped in "built" 350 with a th350 with a shifkit. i still dont know what gears are in it i havnet checked. motor was shot it had droped a valve through the no.1 piston but ive got a good 4bolt 2pc. block outa it the 305 heads that were on it are just one had part of a valve through it lol. well my goal for this car DD/autox car so i bought a stock "running" 350 for it came outa a 70 c10 pickup was a stock gm crate motor. had 40k on it got it for $300 well i droped it in about two/three months ago and thats as far as i got by that i mean motor/tranny bolted together and set in car driveshaft not in tranny yet as of now headers not bolted up no wireing its just sitting since ive been finishingup the mech. work on my 86. well i went out a few weeks ago and motor is seized up i put some oil in the cyls ans let soak and i did it again lastnight and im hoping to get it broken free. if not im going to pull the motor and do a basic rebuild. nothing nuts like i said it will be a daily driver and i plan to beef the suspension to auto x it. i dont wanna go to crazy but heads are casting #3927186 looked em up 2.02 1.6 valves 63cc any more info would be good good?bad? but since i have it apart ill want to od a cam but i want something that will help that low end grunt pull to maybe 5-5500k. dont want to have to use a high stall if i dont have to. like i said idk what gear it has now but guy said he had 3.73's in it but at this point im not beliveing anythign he said untill i check for sure.

well sorry for the long post but just trying to get some opinions on if i decide to rebuild what i should do or other things to try and break this motor loose.

 

I know it sounds obvious but are you positive that the trans isn't in any gear? I'd pull all the plugs and try turning it over via the flexplate. I just looked at your pic closer, has it been sitting outside without a hood on it like that? I noticed the rust on top of the choke plate.. if thats the case good chance you may have gotten some water down the intake ports, were the plugs rusty when you removed em?

 

plugs werent rusty that carb came off the old motor and i just put it on to keep out water. like i siad i bought this motor about 2months ago and i put the intake on when i painted the motor the car has had hood on it with a cover over it for the most part of the time its been at my house. when i picked the motor up the guy still had the oil in the motor we had to drain it before we loaded it on my buddys truck. when i had the intake off motor was spottless same when i pulled the valve covers off. so idk. one part of me wants to build a motor but i kinda just want to getthis thing runnign w/o pulling it again.
