My name is Derek and I just bought my first 3rd gen a few weeks ago (my 3rd camaro) and have a question. Did all 86s come with power steering? I don't think mine did because I can't find the place to check it. My car is jumping all over the road and grinding when I turn and I have a sort of ticking noise in front of the passenger side on the underside of the engine and thought it might be my power steering but when I went to check the fluid I couldn't find it! Help please

 

Can you post a picture?

If anything, the previous owner may have removed the power steering. It's a simple device to locate via the belts. Post a picture and we can help.
