Taking out AC Pump

I want to clean up my engine bay but I don't really know what I do and do not need. I can live without the AC and it will make a lot more room. Is it fine to remove the AC pump and everything else and just get a smaller serpintine belt?

Re: Taking out AC Pump

you'll have to have the a/c system vacuumed before you can disconnect the pump or lines, unless the system is already empty. yes you can remove the pump and the lines and the condenser. you can run a shorter belt to solve the belt routing or get a a/c delete pulley.
