Horsepower and torque does it take on average to lift the front end of one of these cars? Let's say i'm running 275's at the track.

How much lift we talking? Because if and when i would hammer it with a 305 LG4 the nose would lift no wheelies or anything but lift indeed.

Well, just set it up with some drag shocks and springs, like 70/30 weight distribution or whatever they are. That will definitely give you that feeling.

On a general basis you can calculate the engine torque you'd need from the following data: front weight, wheelbase, rear wheel radius, rear gear ratio, tranny ratio, & torque converter multiplication.
If you dig up the numbers I can do the math.
Hp numbers are not direcly related or relevant.
