Continue my cheap 355 build

OK I am looking to you to help continue my 355 build, so far I have the stock 4 bolt main short block together with speed pro L2252af30 dome pistons installed but no cam. this will be a limited use street/strip engine cruise car and I am looking for suggestions to complete this lower dollar build and I want to stay with a hyd cam, FYI this combo with 64 c heads will yeald 11.87-1 comp, any suggestions will be appreciated thanks.

Hope you have money for race fuel as you'll need it with that kind of compression.

The 11.87 compression was just an example I was planing on useing a 76 cc head which would bring down the compression to 10.22 which should be pump friendly

Pump friendly with aluminum heads, borderline with iron heads. You'll still need to run a loose cam, and conservative timing to run pump gas.

Re: Continue my cheap 355 build

Why would you run dome pistons and 76cc heads? That's a terrible combo. Sell the pistons and get the right ones for your app.

What is your budget now, and what results do you want? I guess you're looking for heads and cam now?
