build the top end of my 350 or a new 383?
which should i do? the problem is that i know my 350 has been rebuilt once, and i dont know anything about the bottom end or the pistons (or the compression ratio for that matter), so assuming it was stock .030 over replacements, what would be the best combo without touching my bottom end?
i am looking at the trickflow top end kit for $2100, and it doesnt look too bad, but would there be a better and cheaper route to take?

i am fully aware that the advertised claims are probably not 100% true so dont think i am expecting 500 fwhp out of a 350.
what heads/cam combo would be comparable to the trickflow one? would it work without notched pistons?
or would i be better off just building a 383 right now and swapping it in when i am done that would make way more power?
