Re: COMPLETE MY COMBO?
I'd finish it off with Summit 200cc S&S aluminum heads # SUM-162111
Edelbrock Victor JR intake hand port matched to the heads.
Holley #4779 750cfm DP carb. (add rear jet extensions)
110GPH minimum fuel system 1/2" fuel lines
Isky 292H Mega Cam Isky #201292
Summit #G6905 aluminum roller rockers.
ATI 10" Treemaster custom 4000 stall TH350/400 torque converter
1-5/8" long tube headers, 2.5" Y'd into a 3.5" or 4" "Big Mouth" exhaust.
Summit # SUM-850055 distributor Summit # SUM-850600 CD ignition
w/ Summit # SUM-850500 E Coil
"lockout" the mechanical advance curve (34deg timing BTDC,full time)
Limit vacuum advance to around 12-15deg at high cruise.
your Th-350 and 4.10's are fine.. get some sticky tires.

Re: COMPLETE MY COMBO?
^^ not a bad build at all. just maybe go 1 3/4 longtubes but 1 5/8 will work well.
stock crank and rods i'd keep rpms down below 6500 or so if limited use. they wont like to rev high but a cam like 280-290 duration advertised will peak by then anyway on most builds
Whats your budget for this build? Any ideas of what power you want?

Re: COMPLETE MY COMBO?
Low to med budget have a set of 76 cc heads #464624 which would give me 10.20 compression 172 cc intake runner 2.02/1.6 stainless valves screw in studs and plates springs to 565 lift. need a intake to fit under stock hood and a 750dp and cam, power enough to run 7.9 in eight this is a new build for a 1985 LITTLE OLD LADY CAMARO ONLY DRIVEN ON SUNDAY TO CHURCH CAR which has a 700r4 now and will receive a auburn posi rear end moser axles and eitheer 373 or 410 gears street drag radials also a 3200 stall converter thanks
Re: COMPLETE MY COMBO?
A 750cfm DP for a mostly street driven 355 under 6500 rpm is way overkill. I'd go 650 DP. And same for a Vic Jr intake is also not necessary...Performer RPM intake is a perfect street intake.
And whoever suggested the 1/2" fuel lines, you do know that it's only 3/8" going in the fuel tank right? Unless of course you plan on redoing the sending unit lines also.

I'm still waiting to hear if that was the correct piston p/n you posted. I couldn't find anything with that number, but the p/n I posted is domed pistons. Is that what you're using?
172cc isn't going to "choke" the engine, but later design heads would make it run better.
