Vortec Head Question

Can anyone tell me if one casting number or year is better than others also what about the triple triangle vortec's TNX xyZMan

The better iron one is the 906 head, usually three triangle. 96 up 350. 64cc
170 intake port 1.94/1.5 valves.

906 and 062 are the two you are looking for. They are virtually identical. The 906 casting had a "heavy duty exhaust valve seat" I think it was called....? but thats the only real difference.

IIRC the 906 casting was used in production vehicles, and 062 was an over-the-counter head. I could be wrong about that though.
