I have an 89 trans am with 305 tpi and when the temps get below zero and windchills are 35-40 below.... the engine tries to start and wont keep running.... the battery is good... what could possibly be wrong here... It runs fine above zero.... maybe it wants to be stored in winters.... Also what do these engines do to replace the choke of a carb engine? Please help if you can.... thanks

 

thanks to all that looked..... I have found that the distributor was loose causing all the problems....
