i want to desconnect the ECM..but have no idea

i want to disconnect the ecm but i have no idea how to do that or if it will damage my car if i run it like that. I just want to see if my car runs any better.......

the car wont start without ECM connected, because its controlling injectors and everything.. you got an 1989, then VATS would be a problem without ECm because its in the prom..

angelromero: adding your year, modell, engine in the profile is very good, its much easier to come up with ideas and help then

I think I have a bad cylinder head, how do I remove it and run the car to see if it runs better?
