Re: oil pressure switch
Power to the OPS is from a HOT at all times fuse near the battery so OPS might be faulty, not correct type (normally open switch, but I doubt that,) or you have a short. Do you have the oil pressure/gauge combo, or one sensor for each?

Re: oil pressure switch
I'm having the same issue on my '89 GTA with the fuel pump staying on. I recently had an '88 GTA engine harness retrofitted to fit mine (mine was a POS) and since then I've been having this problem. The first time I drove my car since the transplant, it stayed on about 3-4 min after I turned it off and figured it was probably a relay that needed replacement. It has since then gotten worse and the pump now stays on for about 30min. or more and I have to unplug the ecm connector by the battery to shut it off and vica versa to turn it on again. I noticed you mentioned the 3-wire connector to the OPS. The '88 GTA harness OPS connector has 2 wires while mine ('89 GTA) has 3 so theres 1 wire thats unused and its a tan colored wire. Would this be the cause to my problem?? what can I do to fix it?? Thanks in advance.
