need to pass emissions...

Im about to redo my exhaust finaly im gonna run true duals with high flow cats anh flowmaster hushpower mufflers. my question is with the cats and running off e85 do you think its possible to pass emissions in va. the engine is a stock 305 with all other emission parts taken off including the exhaust manifolds that were replaced with headman headers

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't if its an otherwise stock engine other than the exhaust work. Are you running a heated 02 sensor? What all did you eliminate the egr system and the air system? As long as your 02 sensor gets hot enough to function properly I think it should pass no problem. The air system only effects things if the engine is cold so you should be ok.

there is no o2 sensor i have rmoved all emissions items and am now running a holley carb modified to run on e85

ah ha, well then I'd say it all depends on how well tuned your carb is. Are you still running the factory peanut cam? You should be able to get it to pass emissions just so they don't do a visual..
