Well i just on monday did a tranny fluid change on my 92 camaro rs i did everything good but the problem that a have is that the car wont shift gear it just continue to run in first (the transmission is Auto) it red lines so can someone help my to find the problem. thanx

 

Go to the transmission and drivetrain tech board, some of the really smart auto tranny people live there.

 

was it doing this before the fluid change? either way 1st check fluid level.

 

Check the fluid level in park with engine warm and idling to be sure all is ok. Another common cause of no upshifts is a broken governor gear.

 

Well the problem is fixed thanx for the help the problem was the tranny on the car haven't been change for a wile so the tranny got use to the old fluid and i let the car seat for a day but yesterday i took it out for a spin and finaly shift to gear, that was the problem it needed the tranny to get use to the new fluid lol wiered well thanx for the help.
