I found a bad MAF relay and I'm wondering if that could cause the car to die sometimes and not start for 15 mins or more? Or when I turn off the car like when putting gas in it go back and it wont start for 15 mins or more?

I don't know what relay it was, burn off or the other one but it was located on the divers side firewall a little lower than the other one and its closest to the fender. what relay was it?

 

Sounds like it. When a relay gets hot it will stop working and if the top is brunt that is it

 

The only way to determine which relay it is would be to identify the wires connected to it by color.
