This will be a very stupid question, but everyone has to start somewhere...

The car has minor mods such as complete customised true dual exhaust from the headers all the way back, upgraded sway bars and performance chip.

Does anyone know what is best bang for buck now for performance on this engine?

Looks TBI to me and there were no 350 TBI's of that year only 305's. Also looks stock from what I can see.

You could do the "free TBI mods" they are on this site somewhere other than that it depends how much money you want to put in it.

 

I'm gonna go with TBi also. You can tell by the drum style air intake over the intake manifold.

I'm still not knowledgeable enough to know TBI from carb from a glance but I do know that the 92 stock did not come with a carb package. So unless It's been coverted It's TBI. Definitely not TPi though as there is no air intake airbox.

 

The car has been converted to Right Hand Drive as its in Australia, Sydney. I doubt this will effect the layout of the engine. Thanks guys heaps for clarifying that. Any ideas though on affordable mods?

 

Yeah that looks like a stock TBI engine, weird seeing the brake master cylinder on the wrong side and the AC on the other, I'd love to see the inside of the car, can you get more pics?

Im thinking i might get a open element air cleaner on it to get her out of this emphasimic stage and breathing properly. Do you think this will be the best option? I wouldnt mind hearing that air rush in the bonnet :P
