how much more better is a 4chan automotive scope vs 2chan
would like to buy a scope, seems like a great lil toy to have. how much more better is a 4chanel automotive scope vs 2chanel?

I haven't seen these automotive scopes you're talking about, but from a general point of view you should be covered for most anything with a 2-channel scope. I've been into electronics for about 30 years and have never wished for anything more than a 2-channel oscilloscope. Just my 2-cents.

Fullsize is right, generally a 2 channel is fine.
at work the Sun machine & my LS2000 are both 2 channel, i use them most of the time. we have a Modis that is 4 channel that i have used a few times.
for someone not in the automotive field where they will use it at home to repair their own car, a 2 channel will be fine. its the newer vehicles where a 4 channel can come in handy when your trying to find an interment glitch with no codes & have no ideal where to start looking. there has been a time or 2 i wish i had a 10 channel scope, LOL.
either way you go, get a low amp probe. with it you can current ramp injectors, fuel pumps, solenoids, & relays, anything that is low current.
