Engine: 305 TPI / ZZ4 cam
Transmission: Stage 2 700R4, LS1 driveshaft
Axle/Gears: Strange 3.42 w/ Auburn
Head Porting Articles / Websites - First Time
I've decided to gasket match and pocket port my stock 305 TPI heads since I'm also installing an LT1 cam (might as well since the heads will be out of the car anyway and I need to install new LT4 springs).
Does anyone have any links to articles/websites as to how I port the heads. I have never ported heads before.
I have a dremel (what bits do I need. I have the flex shaft attachment)
What do I need to know and be aware of (besides take my time).
I want to gain a few HP (by smoothing out air flow) and not ruin the heads (yes, this would be bad).
Need advise.............thanks
