89 iroc 305 TBI not starting

Alright so the car randomly decided to die and has not wanted to start since. It just keeps cranking away but will not start up. I've checked the spark plugs, distributor cap and it's getting fuel. also, when it first died we sprayed some starting fluid and it started up for about a minute but quickly died and since then it keeps cranking and nothing. any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm lost right now. thanks
