oil out of A/C holes??

I was just curious if it was normal for oil to be coming out of where the A/C bolts to the engine. there is 2 holes, it was leaking out of the bottom one. a couple months later the engine blew and i didnt know if they had any relation.

Leaky head gasket? Might make sence if it ended up blowin out later...normally you shouldnt be gettin any oil in the cylinders but if the gasket was bad im guessing your piston rings werent sealing right either. And i dont think the oil would be coming OUT of the threads...probably just leaking onto it and pooling. Just a thought i could be wrong.

yea I couldnt figure out where it was coming from until I got it up on a lift and dried the whole thing and i was watching it come out of the hole... I have no explanation, just what I saw. i thought it was the wierdest thing though. But also i know it was coming out of there because i put a bolt in it and it was no longer leaking oil.
