Idle issues?

Idle issues?
Hey, my 83 firebird 5.0 TBI is having idle issues...very weak and low RPM..jumps between 300 and 900 then stalls after awhile..yet when driving normaly there is no problem...if anyone has an idea thatd be great, thanks

83 TBI? That didn't come from the factory like that.... Are you sure it's TBI? Any other mods? If it is try disconnecting the IAC and checking for vacuum leaks. Maybe even a leaking injector causing it to load up on fuel... had that on mine.

Crap, sorry i meant carbed...my other car has TBI, anywho, i dissconnected the IAC and checked for vacuum leaks and what do ya know the problem was literally under my nose (right beside the carb) so shes all fixed up now..i posted my problem on here before i searched the forums
