fuel pressure dropping

Well I didnt' notice until yesterday. At key on the pressure goes up to 45 or so and then immediately starts going down to 10 or so. This is before start. Should the fuel system stay pressurized througout? I would think but if not I was going to start trying to track down whats letting the pressure drop. Specs of what I'm running in the sig. EVERYTHING is brand new all the way to the Walbro 255lph in-tank.

Re: fuel pressure dropping

If the pressure only drops when the pump kicks off, then it is either a loose line, or more likely the pump letting the pressure off.... Typical with some pumps. When the car is running what is the pressure at?

Re: fuel pressure dropping

I posted this up in electronics also. I'm running a Walbro 255LPH intank and a procharger secondary inline. My car runs at 49 PSI. On key on she'd bleed off to about 10-15. Today she died and PSI didn't go above zero and I'm not hearing the pumps (either one) prime.
